Jayne Tierney has been responsible for
designing and running systematic
reviews and meta-analyses
based on both individual participant data
(IPD) and summary data for more than 15 years.
She has published major IPD meta-analyses in
bladder, cervix, lung, oesophagus, and soft-tissue cancer, and
collaborated on projects in pregnancy and wound care. She has also
published systematic reviews of summary data, particularly in
gynaecological cancer.
Jayne has also conducted methodological
research relating to systematic reviews and meta-analysis, and is
Deputy Director and Meta-analysis Lead for the CTU Hub for Trials Methodology
Research.
Jayne is involved in the Cochrane
Collaboration as a member of several Cochrane Review Groups and is
co-convenor of the IPD Meta-analysis Methods Group.
