Changes in the CTU Cancer Group
In March 2010 Max Parmar, currently Head of the Cancer Group,
will take up his new role as Director of the MRC Clinical Trials
Unit. This will, of course, bring a number of new
responsibilities both for him and the Cancer Group senior
staff.
While Max plans to continue his current trial-specific role for
several of our cancer trials, and in the cancer community more
generally, the Cancer Group as a whole will be managed by the
Cancer Leads: Rick Kaplan, Ruth Langley, Sally Stenning, Ann Marie
Swart and Matthew Sydes. Specific roles and responsibilities will
be developed further as Max considers the organisational structure
of the unit overall. In the meantime, our external
collaborators who have developed links with senior Cancer Group
staff members should continue to use their existing contacts.
