Developing a systematic approach to reviewing
methodological research
A structured approach to reviewing
methodological research is relatively rare and systematic reviews
of methodology are quite a new phenomenon. There are additional
challenges compared to standard reviews of healthcare
interventions.
We plan to develop methods for reviewing
methodological research systematically, rigorously and more
efficiently and turn this into guidance for others to use. We are
working in collaboration with the UK Cochrane Centre and the
All Ireland
Hub.
