James Carpenter, Professor of Medical Statistics & Chair of Methodology
James is the chair of the MRCCTU at UCL methodology theme, which comprises three programmes: trial design, conduct and analysis, and have interests across all three. The motivation for his research is finding practical methodological solutions to challenges in Phase III clinical trials and observational research.
He works at the MRCCTU at UCL on a 50% secondment from the Department of Medical Statistics at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
